The Murderer's Daughter Chapter 4: TO TOWN!!

"Town? What's Town?!" I asked.

"It's a magical place where OCs live together in harmony!"

The suggestion sounded really fun. More people to meet and a much more interesting backdrop were both very appealing to me, at the time.

"TO TOWN!!" I shouted joyfully, as Blank led me to one of his torture equipment. He grabbed the black hoodie lying on it, and then pushed the machine out of our way to reveal a whole in the wall.

"This passage leads straight to the town, but you'll have to put this on, because the OC's are unaware that a monster lives in the woods next to the town." He was, of course, talking about Redo, whom I'd do anything for back then.

"Redo's not a monster! He's my dad!" I snapped.

Blank chuckled and looked at me like I was an idiot. "He doesn't even want to keep you around."

"That's not true!!"

"It is so!!"

"No it's not!!!"

I think Blank decided that arguing with me was a bad idea, because he changed the subject. "C'mon, then, let's go to town..."

I put on the black hoodie he gave me, and ran through the tunnel. When I got out of it, I was at the edge of the forest, with old houses visible in the distance. Blank took longer to catch up to me.

"Is that town?"

"Yep, that's the town."
